Hmong Clothes
Khaub ncaws, or clothes, vary depending on the Hmong sub-groups, locations, and origins.
This variation is a modern interpretation of traditional Hmong clothes. The overall form still incorporates a headdress, a pleated skirt, and hand-stitched beading; however, cotton and synthetic fabrics are now often used in place of hemp, and the motifs are either copied and printed or machine-made.
